Refund and Returns Policy
This policy explains how ISA Events reviews refund requests for World School Summit (WSS) and Cluster of Achievers (COA). It applies to event services, not to the return of physical products.
Effective Date: 28 October 2026
World School Summit (WSS) organises international education summits, conferences, networking, nominations and recognition programmes. Cluster of Achievers (COA) organises international award ceremonies, conferences, nominations, participation packages, sponsorships and promotional activities. Editions of both platforms are held in different countries and cities.
A refund request may relate to a nomination, delegate registration, event participation package, award participation, sponsorship package, promotional service or other event-related service. The purchase may have been made on isaevents.org, on an official WSS or COA edition website, or through a payment link issued for that service. Payments may be processed by Stripe, PayTabs or another payment provider used for that transaction.
Cancellation of a booking is handled under the Cancellation Policy. This page explains what happens when a refund is requested. A refund is not automatic, and a payment is not automatically non-refundable.
1. How a refund request is reviewed
Eligibility depends on the service purchased, the terms shown before payment, how far that service has been delivered, and applicable law.
A payment may cover nomination review, a delegate or participation place, sponsorship benefits, promotional activity, event administration and third-party commitments already made for that edition. Those factors can affect whether a refund is available and, if so, the amount.
Any refund condition in an invoice, package description, sponsorship agreement or edition-specific terms is read together with this policy. The condition shown before payment applies to that booking, except where the law requires a different result.
2. Nominations, registrations, packages and sponsorships
If you cancel a nomination, delegate registration, participation package, sponsorship or promotional service, send a written request as described in the Cancellation Policy. Acceptance of the cancellation does not, by itself, decide the refund.
The request is assessed against the booking terms, work already completed, costs incurred and legal requirements. Examples of work already completed can include nomination review, recognition or promotional placement, a confirmed delegate place, or sponsorship activity that has started. Where a deduction applies, the reason for it will be explained.
3. If a service is not delivered
If a purchased WSS or COA service is not delivered as agreed, contact us promptly with the booking reference and what was not delivered. We will review the agreement and the circumstances.
Depending on the case and applicable law, the resolution may be to complete the service, to provide an agreed alternative, or to refund the undelivered portion in full or in part where that is appropriate or legally required. Nothing in this policy removes a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. If ISA Events cancels an edition or service
If ISA Events cancels an edition or service and cannot provide what was purchased or an agreed alternative, the customer may be eligible for a refund of the undelivered portion, subject to applicable law and the relevant agreement.
If the edition is rescheduled, or another arrangement is offered, we will explain the choice available. A customer is not required to accept an alternative where applicable law gives a right to a refund instead.
5. Changes to an edition
Dates, venues, speakers, programmes and other arrangements may change for operational reasons or for reasons beyond our reasonable control. We will communicate a significant change where it is reasonably practicable.
If the change affects the service purchased, a refund request is reviewed on the facts of that booking, the applicable terms and the law. The same standard is used in the Cancellation Policy.
6. What to send with a refund request
Email collaboration@isaevents.org and include:
- Your full name and registered email address.
- The booking, nomination or invoice reference.
- Whether the booking is for World School Summit (WSS) or Cluster of Achievers (COA), and the edition or city.
- The event name and the package or service purchased.
- The payment date, amount and, if you have it, the transaction reference.
- The reason for the request.
- Supporting documents, where relevant.
We may ask for further information before a decision is made.
7. If a refund is approved
We will confirm the approved amount and how it will be processed. Where possible, the refund is returned through the original payment method, which may be Stripe, PayTabs or the other provider used for that payment.
The time taken can depend on that provider, the issuing bank and the payment method. Any deduction, and any timing that applies to that refund, will be communicated for the case. A fixed processing period is not promised unless it has been confirmed for that refund.
8. Duplicate or incorrect payments
If you believe you were charged more than once, or for the wrong amount, contact us with the invoice and transaction references. A verified duplicate or incorrect charge will be handled in line with applicable law and the procedures of the payment provider.
9. Contact
Refund questions can be sent to collaboration@isaevents.org. Please include the booking reference.
